Chris Daring Chris Daring

Chris is the 1996 National Adult Fiddling Champion. She judged the National Fiddling Championships at Weiser in 1992 and 2002. Chris has taught fiddling as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Southern Colorado, the University of Colorado at Denver and Texarkana College. Many of her private students have become Colorado State Champions, one was the 1998 National Junior Champion and the 2000 National Young Adult Champion and several have placed in the top ten in their age groups at Weiser. As a performer, Chris’ band played throughout the southwest for many years and her family provided the music for the private dinner of eight world leaders, including the President of the United States and their wives at the 1997 Summit of the Eight Conference in Denver, Colorado.
