Nick Righos, Newcastle, CA
Nick has been playing fiddle and guitar for many years and has won the California State Men's, Adult and Western Open Adult fiddle contests. He has also placed 4th in the Adult division of the National Oldtime Fiddlers' Contest, and has won the California Open Oldtime Flat Pick Guitar contest in the past. He has been a judge at many fiddle contests over the years including three times at the National Oldtime Fiddlers' Contest in Weiser, Idaho. Nick also enjoys playing swing and gyspy jazz fiddle and guitar, as well as writing music.
