Matt Wyatt

Matt grew up listening to fiddling and on both sides of his family were great fiddlers. He traveled the country, learning from some of the best. He is the current Missouri State Champion and he has won many fiddle contests including State Championships in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Alabama, and Mississippi. Other Contests he won or placed high in are the Tennessee State, Branson Missouri, Mt. View Arkansas, Hallettesville Texas, Grove Oklahoma, and more. In addition to contests, Matt plays for dances regularly, is in demand as a judge and instructor. Matt has a music degree from Belmont University, has played on the Grand Ole Opry, at the Ryman Auditorium, and on "Nashville Nights". He now plays with an acoustic swing group Swing DeVille and is co-owner of the Wyatt Violin Shop in Kansas City, MO, does repairs and tonal adjustments, travels to buy and sell the best, hand-picking each instrument for the shop.http://www.wyattviolinshop.com
