“I’m Not Lisa PLUS” I’m Not Lisa is 3 gals from Osage County, Oklahoma and their good picking buddies, also from the Tulsa area, who play eclectic oldtimefolkabillycountryrockgrass. That’s a mouthfull, but that’s what they do- Some bluegrass, some old time, some country, some folkrockabilly and more. The three gals, Karen Gideon, Patricia Webster, and Lucy Weberling, have been playing together on and off in various bands for many, many years. All three live in the country in Osage county.- Prue, Pawhuska, and Skiatook respectively. They love nothing better than simply jamming with friends, but occasionally put it together in “band” form. So here is “I’m Not Lisa.” Patricia Webster plays quite a professional upright bass, and sings country, western swing, bluegrass and standards. She has played in various bands, such as Indocent Exposure ( Tallgrass Prairie Docents), Bach to Bluegrass, and Queen of Hearts. Patricia is well respected in many genres of music, including swing. Karen Gideon, vocals, guitar and bass, has played in the Monroe Sisters, Moxie, and Second Time around. Karen’s soulful song renditions are known to touch the listeners’ hearts. Lucy Weberling has played in the Blueweed Boys, Sisters of the Sun, Indocent Exposure. Lucy sings, plays guitar in bluegrass, country and country rock, and folk and a tad of mandolin in swing and old time. The three gal’s tight harmonies are their love. They are joined by Gary (Red) Stout, bass, clawhammer banjo and fiddle player.- also from Osage County. He lends an Old Time influence to the group, both in very authentic picking and singing. Red has played in many bands- Blueweed Boys, Sit-in Easy, and The Zoograss Boys, to name a few. Also joining “I’m Not Lisa” is Gary Gerhart, on mandolin. Gary also plays killer bass and guitar with Southbound Mule, Grass Crack, and the Dustbowl Gypsies. Gary also sings as well as being an accomplished musician. I’m Not Lisa performs and is available for private parties, small venues, festivals, theatres, and dinner events.
