| Wayne Head
Wayne is a 4th generation fiddler hoping to
follow his father's
success who is a 5 time Sr. Oklahoma State Champion. Wayne has won several
contest and has lost some contests. "The more fiddle music I hear, the
better I like it." He not only plays the fiddle but also rhythm
guitar and mandolin. "I have met some of my best friends at fiddle
conventions and contests. I am always striving to play a tune better than the
last time." Wayne has encouraged several young fiddlers to peruse
fiddling and guitar playing. He has been the President of the Southeast
Oklahoma Sooner Fiddlers Association for over 10 years. He and his wife Donna
live on a farm in Idabel, OK and have 2 children and 3 grandchildren ages 7 and
8 years old who all have a fiddle, guitar and mandolin.
